Sullivan! - With & Without Gilbert

Sir Arthur Sullivan is so much more than the musical mastermind of well-loved operettas like Pirates, Pinafore and Mikado - he was an extraordinary composer, whose gift for crafting a beautiful melody or a brilliant fugue is demonstrated in the selections featured in this concert with chamber orchestra and guest soloists - Olesia Shewchuk, Soprano; Katrina Goh, Soprano; Arne Larsen, Baritone; Tony Roper, Bass.

Tickets will be available from choir members, at the door and in advance online through $25 adult and $20 senior & student admission. Online purchase is recommended -

A Silent Auction will be held in support of the Choir's need to acquire choral risers and railings to meet the needs of group performance both efficiently and safely. Such a purchase represents a considerable commitment of funds - we raised $500 from the audience at last season's "Classical Cabaret." We are grateful that an increase in the Province of BC's Community Gaming Grant has enabled us to set aside a further thousand dollars - meaning that we stand at twenty five percent of our target. Your assistance in this mission will be much appreciated! Any funds not needed for this purpose in this season will be used to defray instrumentalist costs not covered by our sponsors' contributions.
